Happy Friday, District 45!
This week, the Senate and House gaveled in, and the 2022 Legislative Session officially kicked off. It’s going to be a big year with a lot of important topics being discussed, and I’m excited to keep working to protect the interests of Senate District 45.
Legislative Activity
The first few weeks of the session are typically on the slower side. This is the time for Legislators to work on bills and consult with stakeholders and constituents. All requests for legislation to be drafted must be submitted by January 12. After that, bills will begin to move through committees.
